Where does it gooooooooo?

Last day of June. Going to go down to our lovely waterfront, hear some music see some dancing. Looking over my post on June 1st...haha! I just laugh. What I planned to do and what got done are 2 entirely different things! Did I enjoy the beautiful month of June? YES, I did! I wish I could fit everything into the day that I want to..but I can't. I guess I am getting done what I am supposed to. Bye June...hello July. My Anniversary month! A Great month!

Crochet

I have been having fun with wire crochet the last few weeks. I have more to do, but got in a few really cute necklaces before the Strawberry Festival in Beacon on the 12th that I did with my friend who had a spot there. It was more for moral support and fellowship, but she told me to bring pieces to put out. I did sell 2 items. The day was fun and a good experience. If I chose to do this, sell this way I think I would want to do it with my daughters and make some sort of side business with them. I doubt I could create enough inventory to commit to this a few times a year. One of my necklaces pictured here I did sell to a friend the other day. It was unexpected and funny for me because I had just listed it on ArtFire. More to come......
I think I am a once a month blogger. I may need to change that because I am wondering if it will keep me more on target for beading and artwork. May proved to be an incredibly busy month. The strong start in regard to beading, self promotion, etc kind of fizzled out although I was making some sweet embellished briolettes, of whom I have to finish (is that even a correct kind of word use?) I made a ruby accented rose quartz briolette and a crocheted chain for a dear friend's daughter who graduated from college. Did I take a picture? No. Guess what her name is though....Rubi Rose. How perfect is that? She is a photographer, I will ask her to take a pic of the necklace for me. The last week of May I went on a quick decision trip to VT to be with a friend who had just lost her Mother. She took me to a fabulous bead store in New Hampshire, GemStar. I got some fun strands of beads including some CZ's. Teeeeeny tiny little beads, and briolettes. I am having a slight briolette fetish.
